When Permuted made the offer, I asked around to some of their authors about experiences with them and the response was entirely enthusiastic. The Permuted family looks to be a great one to be a part of.

And it definitely is cool that Permuted is so friendly to serial writers. I hope this encourages more authors to give serializing a try, since it's such a fun way to go about writing a novel.

Re: Not Since Jim Crow: The Racism of Affirmative Action

In order to forge "A More Perfect Union", the divisive race-based policy known as Affirmative Action must "Change". President Obama is living proof that Affirmative Action is obsolete and that racism is not a prominent factor in society today! Can we end Affirmative Action as we know it? - "Yes We Can!" And, President Obama agrees (see the video)! Also highlighted are many of the REAL societal problems encountered that limit prosperity and that Affirmative Action does not help.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgzWt6p_4eQ

Re: THE HOLE lands a publisher

This is excellent news! Some blogs:http://www.amazon.com/gp/forum/cd/discussion.html/ref=cm_cd_notf_thread?ie=UTF8&cdForum=FxBVKST06PWP9B&cdPage=29&asin=B000FI73MA&cdThread=Tx15UAKRX5252A#
http://www.amazon.com/gp/forum/cd/discussion.ht...

Also submit your book to book review blogs, like Literate Housewife. Avoid the mistake many make of hyping their own books ("My book, such-and-such, is a masterpiece of science fiction that will hook you from the beginning") or quoting extensively from good reviews (especially if they're from your friends). Just say what the book is about, how you came to write it, and link to the Kindle and any other editions (not your Web site) at the end. I'm an entirely unknown author and I've sold a relatively strong number of books on the device. And, given that every link I've created on my site has included my Amazon affiliate ID, and given that that ID has tracked very few sales, my guess is that the majority of people buying THE HOLE aren't coming to it from my site (people who read my site probably already read the book in its serialized blog form). Maybe people who are willing to try one new thing (the Kindle) are also willing to try another (my novel).
